Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2025

Finluxy.com is an independent financial data and research publication. This page explains how we earn revenue, what that means for our content, and what it doesn’t mean. We believe complete transparency on this topic is a baseline requirement for a financial content site.

1. FTC Compliance Notice

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), Finluxy.com discloses all material connections between this Site and any company whose products or services are mentioned here.

A material connection exists when there is a financial relationship between Finluxy.com and a company — including affiliate commission arrangements, advertising relationships, or any other form of compensation. Where such relationships exist, they are disclosed on this page and, for article-level affiliate links, within the article itself.

2. How We Make Money

Finluxy.com earns revenue through two primary channels:

Google AdSense (Display Advertising)

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google selects and serves ads automatically based on the content of the page you are viewing and, in some cases, your browsing history and interests (interest-based advertising). We receive a share of ad revenue when ads are displayed on or clicked from our pages.

We have no editorial control over which specific ads appear. The presence of a particular advertisement on this Site does not constitute an endorsement of the advertised product or company. If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising served by Google, visit adssettings.google.com.

Affiliate Marketing

Some articles on Finluxy.com contain affiliate links — hyperlinks to products or services for which we may receive a financial commission if you complete a qualifying action (such as a purchase or account sign-up) through that link. The commission is paid by the merchant, not by you. Clicking an affiliate link does not increase the price you pay.

When an article contains affiliate links, you will see a disclosure at or near the top of that article, such as:

“This article contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you.”

3. Programs We Participate In

We may participate in affiliate programs including but not limited to:

  • Amazon Associates Program
  • Credit card and financial services affiliate networks
  • Travel and accommodation booking affiliate programs
  • Software, tools, and subscription service affiliate programs
  • Other retail and consumer product programs relevant to our content topics

This list may change over time as we add or end specific affiliate partnerships. The most current information is always reflected in article-level disclosures.

4. How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Content

The direct answer: they don’t — not editorially.

We maintain a strict separation between our commercial relationships and our editorial decisions. Specifically:

  • We do not choose article topics based on affiliate revenue potential
  • We do not write favorable reviews or analysis in exchange for payment or commission arrangements
  • We do not alter, omit, or soften data or findings to accommodate a partner’s commercial interests
  • We do not accept sponsored or paid content of any kind disguised as editorial content
  • We do not allow affiliate partners to review, approve, or influence article content before publication
  • We include affiliate links only when the linked product or service is genuinely relevant to the article topic

If we reference a product or service in an article that has an affiliate program, we use an affiliate link because it is the responsible thing to do financially for an independent publication — not because the commission influences our analysis. The analysis comes first; the link is secondary.

Our full editorial standards are described on the Editorial Policy page.

5. Your Cost Is Not Affected

Affiliate commissions are paid by the merchant from their own revenue, not by you. The price you pay for any product or service through an affiliate link is identical to the price you would pay by going directly to the merchant’s website. In some cases, affiliate programs include exclusive discounts or offers — where this applies, we note it in the article.
